Are you ready girls and boys? You’re about to see some ‘bed’ photos and by that, I mean the ‘morning after’ your wedding celebrations where your hair should be dishevelled, dark bags under your eyes, clothes scattered all over and you’re hungover. That’s a sign of a good night isn’t it? Except, you seem to miraculously wake up looking like a supermodel and ever the gracious couple. Well, sort of. There’s the ‘trash the dress’ engagement shoot trend, which if you’ve not been up to speed with the latest news, a bride died over the weekend taking photos next to a raging river and the current pulled her and her wedding dress with it. I understand that some couples like to be non-conformist but there’s a limit. The latest and hottest trend is to take those ‘morning after’ shots looking sexy and half-naked between the sheets or even in the shower! It’s all staged meaning you’ve got to rise early and get your make up and hair done just so you can have professional photos taken that no one else wants to look at. Just because Kate Moss did it, doesn’t mean you need to too.
Brides and grooms, the morning after is an intimate moment that should only be shared between the two of you. You’re allowed to enjoy yourselves and even though everyone knows what you’re up to, some things are best left behind closed doors.
