Many of us (myself included!) are inseparable from our smartphones and more often than not, we find ourselves using our phones to take photos more than our digital camera. When it comes to weddings, we all become snap happy and want to capture every special moment from the beautiful couple to the details and usually can’t wait to share it with our Facebook or Instagram friends. In comes the new app, MerryMarry that was developed when one of the engineers at a tech company in Palo Alto, San Francisco, was getting married and found it impossible to keep track of RSVPs as well as photos that were taken on the day. From when you first get engaged to after your big day, your wedding story can be shared with your guests via Facebook, for as long as you like. Send e-invites to your guests and let the app manage your RSVPs so you can sit back, relax and read the incoming congratulatory messages from your friends and family. After the celebrations are over, get your guests to upload their photos to your private album so you can re-live the day. Even if you’ve hired a professional photographer, you’ll find that they might have missed certain shots. After all, they’ve only got a pair of arms, a pair of legs and a pair of eyes. The app is currently only available on the iPhone but Amy Min, co-founder of the app advised that the Android version will be rolled out next month so those of you with Samsung phones needn’t wait too long. What’s even better is that it’s free so what are you waiting for?
