The Polka Dot Fever.

Think 50′s, Carolina Herrera dresses back in the late 80′s early 90′s, Cath Kidston and more recently Zooey Deschanel in New Girl (quote: “I rock a lot of polka dots.”) whilst humming to Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini and you’ve got one quirky and playful wedding. Your hubby will probably scream “NO!” at your suggestion but assure him that you’ll be incorporating the print sparingly and promise him you won’t go overboard (No polka dot table cloths unless you want your guests to leave early by making them dizzy). Play with circular shapes, be it using flowers, balloons or lanterns to create your spin on the print. Go with strong colours and part with the baby pinks and purples. No one wants to attend a wedding that looks like a kid’s party.  Polka dots can be sophisticated too.

Dots are the new hearts.
